DAY 01 | Arrival – Sigiriya / Dambulla

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and travel to Sigiriya, located in the heart of Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle. En route, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to observe these gentle giants in their natural environment. Check in to your hotel and relax before dinner.

After breakfast, climb the majestic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its frescoes and ancient engineering marvels. Later, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, home to centuries-old Buddhist murals and statues. In the afternoon, enjoy an exciting Jeep Safari at Minneriya National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants.

Head to Kandy, the cultural capital nestled in Sri Lanka’s central hills. Stop at a Spice Garden in Matale for an aromatic experience. Upon arrival, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, followed by a Kandy City Tour covering Kandy Lake, Gem Museum, and Cultural Dance Show in the evening. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Travel to Nuwara Eliya, the heart of the tea country, surrounded by misty mountains and cascading waterfalls. Visit a Tea Plantation & Factory to see how Ceylon Tea is made. Stop at Ramboda Falls before arriving in Nuwara Eliya. Evening leisure time to explore Gregory Lake and colonial landmarks.

After breakfast, drive toward Yala National Park, one of the best wildlife reserves in Asia. En route, pass through the scenic Ella Gap and spot the Nine Arch Bridge. Check in to your hotel near the park and enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by wilderness.

Embark on an early morning Jeep Safari at Yala National Park, home to elephants, leopards, and exotic birds. After breakfast, proceed to Galle to explore the Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site rich with colonial charm. Continue to Bentota for your beachside stay and dinner.

After breakfast, enjoy some free time by the beach before transferring to the airport for your return flight — taking with you the unforgettable stories of Sri Lanka’s history, wildlife, and beauty.
